Beginning in 1889, our founder, J.W. Philpott, pushed his wooden cart around the Cleveland, Ohio industrial complex, determining the needs of his customers, molding and fabricating parts in his shop and then delivering them the next day. To this day, Mr. Philpott's service-minded business model remains unchanged, except for the wooden cart of course!
